What are Loon Outdoors Rogue Nippers?
Loon Outdoors Rogue Nippers are high-quality nippers for cutting leader and tippet when fly fishing. Unlike cheaper nippers, these are made from surgical-quality steel and have a comfy grip section to help make them easier to hold in cold, wet hands.
What features do they have?
Firstly, they have very sharp stainless steel blades, so should last better than cheaper nippers. They have a rust-resistant black finish, a comfy grip on the part you squeeze, and a fly-eye cleaner for removing varnish or resin from the eyes of new flies.
Loon Outdoors Rogue Nippers also come with a large steel loop that unscrews allowing you to attach them to a zinger, such as the Loon Rogue Zinger, or to your fly fishing lanyard.

What are they like to use?
These nippers are comfortable and grippy to hold and have razor-sharp blades so cut through leaders and tippet very well. The yellow steel loop is great for easing attachment to your zinger or lanyard clip, and they look great for a pair of nippers.
How much do they cost?
Loon Outdoors Rogue Nippers can be purchased for around £8.50. This is about mid-priced for a pair of nippers so is pretty decent value for money. You can certainly buy cheaper ones, but they won't look as good and often don't last as long. They come with an unconditional guarantee.
